Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, and sustained disruption of the workshop. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If you experience or witness harassment, please report it as soon as possible to the facilitator, coach, or organizer of the event. For urgent matters that require immediate attention, verbal reports to the event staff are encouraged. For non-urgent complaints or to provide feedback for improvement, please send a message via our contact form. Note that these emails may not be checked in real-time and are intended for future educational purposes for facilitators, coaches, and organizers.
Sponsors are also subject to this anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not wear sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes or create a sexualized environment.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, organizers may take any action they deem appropriate. Immediate measures include warnings and, for severe cases, expulsion from the event without refund. Repeated violations across multiple events may result in a permanent ban from all future Lean Poker events.
Organizers will be happy to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance.
We expect participants to follow these rules at all Lean Poker workshop venues and any workshop-related social events.
