What Will You Learn?

The main focus of this event is to help you understand and implement the concept of delivering value in small batches. You'll learn to transform larger ideas into a sequence of quick wins.

Key takeaways include:

  • Efficient use of a continuous deployment pipeline
  • Rapid feedback loops
  • Safe release of new versions
  • Adapting to rapidly changing market and requirements
  • Measuring your product's success and the impact of your changes

What to expect?

You'll join a self-organized team to develop a poker-playing robot, but this isn't just a game, it's a real-time simulation of a shifting market where rapid adaptation is key. Your robot will start playing against others immediately, even before you've written a single line of code! Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to deploy new versions of your robot, giving you hands-on experience with continuous deployment, rapid feedback loops, and safe release of new versions - all crucial aspects of Agile and Lean methodologies.Regular feedback sessions will be held, where we share experiences and insights we gain during the day. So, come ready to code, collaborate, and compete!

What people say about Lean Poker

The event reinforced how crucial it is to deliver fast, monitor results, and adapt based on data. It's what Agile engineering should be, but we often get sidetracked.
